Rex is a 12 year old Jack Russell Terrier, (DOB 10 August).
He has come from a loving home who had him since he was born.
Unfortunately, due to a change of family circumstances Rex’s owner has reluctantly made the decision to let him go in the hope that he finds a caring companion(s) who can give him the love and attention he deserves.
Rex is an indoor dog who has a thirst for life with an energetic playful personality so an owner who has plenty of time to play would suit him best.
He is great with kids and will play fetch and tug for hours. Aside from playtime, Rex loves nothing more than a good cuddle on the sofa with you in front of the television and will almost always find his way under your blanket to curl up behind your knees.
Wind can scare him and he may bark when there is a storm so he would ideally be suited to a family who have an understanding of an anxious dog.Rex is good with other dogs and has lived with a cat before although he will chase them outside.
He has primarily been the only pet and an environment to replicate this would make him happiest.
He knows some commands such as sit, lie down, high five, up (to jump up) and down i.e. from a chair.
His favourite things are Bonios, walks, especially to the beach or the park where he can run free, trips in the car and a comfy spot for a good nap.
