Meet our stunning sister duo Opal and Sapphire.

Our two girls returned into our care in February.
They are both 4 years old.

Our girls tug on the volunteers at AH’s heartstrings. Our beautiful girls struggle with confidence and they are shy in nature.
Since arriving back into our care they have struggled with the readjustments and their anxiety has been heightened more than usual.
The volunteers can emphasise with the girls and their anxiety, as we know it doesn’t define them. We truly believe anxious or not every cat deserves love and a good home.

Let us tell you a little about them…

Opal and Sapphire are extremely bonded and they just LOVE eachother! You will never find one without the other. They rely on each-other for confidence. They do the sweetest thing, they intertwine and brush up against each other, it is extremely heartwarming!
Opal is the more confident of the two, she will welcome gentle pets and she will sit and gaze up into your eyes. 🥰
Sapphire has taken some time to come around to the volunteers as we are all new to her but she is gradually becoming more comfortable and confident, and accepting pets.
Their favourite thing to do is snuggle up with eachother on a fluffy blanket.❤️

The girls remember our cattery team leader from being in Almost Homes care previously, and they are far more confident and comfortable in her company.

Our girls will need a settled and quiet environment where they can relax and be pampered. Alongside some time and patience you will gain two new best friends.
